Make Winter Last Forever
Skating is a fun and exciting sport that involves moving on a surface with skates.
Skating is not just fun, it also keeps us fit. It improves balance, agility, and strength. It’s a great way to enjoy outdoors and make new friends.

Learning to skate requires practice and patience. Wearing safety gear like helmets and knee pads is important.

Skating, a popular recreational activity, is much more than just a sport. It’s a symbol of freedom, an expression of individuality, and a testament to human endurance and creativity.

Skating and Health Benefits
Skating is not just fun, it’s also a great way to stay fit. It improves cardiovascular health, strengthens the lower body muscles, and enhances balance and coordination. The mental health benefits are notable too, as it helps reduce stress and improve mood.

TESTIMONIAL
I highly recommend Meghan’s powerskating sessions to anyone looking to enhance their foundational skills for hockey or other ice sports. Thanks to Meghan, our son has developed smooth and powerful skating abilities. Many years ago, he started with Meghan in CanSkate and she made it fun to learn how to skate. Years later, he joined U9/Atom hockey and his skating abilities have consistently been recognized and appreciated by coaches. In the past two years, he participated in Meghan’s powerskating sessions to further elevate his game. Other kids who have attended Meghan’s powerskating have also improved, earning spots on AA / AAA teams. We often hear comments by onlookers on how much they have improved and are better skaters. Meghan is kind, firm and direct and her training plan covers 3 fundamental areas (balance, control and agility) all while focusing on 15 basic skill sets. She’s pretty amazing in our humble opinion and her sessions are well worth the time.
